Nestled on 25 acres in the heart of the vineyards of the Hunter Valley and is within walking distance of many of the areas popular wineries and tourist attractions.

Hermitage Lodge has nineteen studios and suites offering the discerning guest four and a half star boutique accommodation and personal, attentive service rarely found today. The rooms are large, comfortable and tastefully decorated with a great deal of attention to detail. Eleven of these rooms, a mix of studios and suites, were built in the first half of 2006. All nineteen rooms offer guests beautiful decks or verandahs overlooking our own Shiraz vineyard.

Hermitage Lodge is the home to Il Cacciatore Restaurant, offering Northern Italian inspired cuisine in a relaxed, casual atmosphere with friendly attentive service. The restaurant has long been a favourite with visitors and locals alike. The seasonal menu takes advantage of fresh local produce, authentic Italian ingredients and home made pastas. Il Cacciatore is open for dinner nightly from 6pm and for lunch on weekends from noon to 3pm.

Features

Hermitage Lodge offers a range of accommodation to suit all budgets. All rooms, suites and studios offer, views overlooking the vineyard, comfortable seating, reverse cycle air conditioners, stocked mini bars and tea oand coffee facilities. There is comfortable seating at both a dining table or on a sofa or in arm chairs. The tariff includes a continental breakfast which is stocked in your room, a cooked breakfast may be ordered the night before and delivered to the privacy of your room..

Lodge Rooms are our original but recently renovated standard room style. These open plan rooms are large, comfortable and tastefully decorated with a great deal of attention to detail. Eleven of these rooms, a mix of studios and suites, were built in the first half of 2006. All nineteen rooms offer guests beautiful decks or verandahs overlooking our own Shiraz vineyard.

Lodge Rooms - 4 star rating, these rooms are large open plan room with recent refurbishment. All rooms have either a king bed (may be split into king singles) and sofa bed or queen bed and sofa bed. There is a covered verandah that runs along the back of the rooms with an additional deck overlooking the vineyards. Max 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children
Deluxe Rooms with Spa bath - 4 star rating, all these rooms have a spa tub in the bathroom. These rooms have high cathedral ceiling with verandah both front and back. Some rooms have queen bed, others have king beds (may be split into king singles). Max 2 adults
Vineyard Studio - 41/2 star, these large new rooms are open plan all with king beds. Some can be split into king singles. This studio can be combined with a Vineyard Suite to form the second bedroom/bathroom.
Vineyard Suite - 41/2 star suites with seperate bedroom with king bed. The livingroom features 2 sofas (1 sofa bed), LCD T.V, stereo and fireplace. The bathroom has a deep soaking tub. Maximum 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.
Vinyard Spa Suite - 41/2 star suite with seperate bedroom with king bed (may be split) The livingroom features 2 sofas (1 sofa bed), LCD T.V, stereo and fireplace. The bathroom has a large oval spa tub and double headed shower. Undercover parking. Maximum 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.
Premier Suite - 41/2 star two storey suite with full kitchen facilities and multiple. The livingroom features 2 sofas (1 sofa bed), LCD T.V, stereo and fireplace. There is a jetted tub on the private upstairs deck overlooking the vineyard. Maximum 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. May be combined with a studio for second bedroom and bathroom.
